“Spring drew on…and a greenness grew over those brown beds, which freshening daily, suggested the thought that Hope traversed them at night, and left each morning brighter traces of her steps.”
We wish all of you a most happy Easter!
We decided to use this post to share a few bits and pieces from our life over the past week or so.
Lovely bunches of hydrangea are beginning to appear at the market reminding us that warmer days are right around the corner.
It also calls to mind our last summer visiting the Hamptons in Long Island; the charming thatched houses and hedges exploding with colorful hydrangea.
Have you visited?
Of course the mandatory Easter shots…
Easter day involved so many edible delicacies.
Morning pastries from one of our favorites, Ibis Bakery.
Evening charcuterie board was as fun to put together as it was to enjoy 🙂 Give it a try sometime and share your photos with us!
Peeping behind this lovely shot of Bel (outfit found online at Florence Adams), was the most beautiful budding Plum tree. Unfortunately, like most of the US on Easter Sunday, we experienced a terrific snow fall which resulted in the death of les petit fleurs!
