A DAY IN LAWRENCE

“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”

-J.R.R. Tolkien

We have taken to exploring nearby towns for all things beautiful and delicious. One place that captured our hearts (and our palates) instantly, is the college town of Lawrence, Kansas.

We love trying new places! What is your favorite place to eat out?

xox,

Bel + Ellie

1900 Barker is the perfect place to start your morning. Not only do they serve a wonderful cup of coffee but they also make their own artisan breads and pastries. Delicious!

We stumbled upon Luckyberry Juice Cafe which is perfect if you just want a light pick-me-up (smoothies, acai bowls, frozen yogurt, made-to-order sushi, salad bar AND a delicious assortment of fresh juices.) An added bonus was a small pop up Cotton Candy stand, MoonFluf. And get this, it is organic! (haha)

Previously an old drugstore, RND Corner Grille is a most agreeable spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. From the black and white tiled bar area to the decadent platters of food, their attention to detail is superb!
